Since its founding in 2002, the company had primarily relied on Excel and Winfakt, which became insufficient as the company grew in size and complexity. The management of purchasing and sales processes, volumes, and transport was handled in separate Excel files, resulting in high administrative workload and increased susceptibility to errors. Additionally, industry-specific features such as batch number management and traceability, which are especially crucial in the food industry, were missing.


Solution

La Cantina decided to implement Odoo in collaboration with OBS-Solutions to streamline its processes. Odoo enabled the complete integration of key business areas such as sales, purchasing, inventory management, and accounting. The new software solution automated processes and centralized data, improving efficiency and reducing error rates. Notably, Odoo’s customization for the specific requirements of the food industry, such as the Empty Container Management system and product traceability, proved to be particularly beneficial.
